Our team philosophy

In order to continue to raise our bar and provide the level of care, passion, and love for the children and families at Casa Speech, we must also continue to build the best speech and OT team. To do that, we strive to make Casa Speech the best place for the best therapists to work.

Speech Therapists

  • Cassandra G. Rosile - M.S., CCC-SLP

    FOUNDER | BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Cassandra is a bilingual speech-language pathologist and the proud owner of Casa Speech. She has been serving children in the Columbus area since 2015 and is truly passionate about helping the people in her community and beyond. Cassandra was born in Laredo, TX, and raised in Mexico. She received her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and her Master’s degree from Miami University of Ohio. Her professional areas of interest include Autism, early intervention, and bilingualism. Cassandra opened Casa Speech in 2017 with the hopes of establishing a family, love, and faith-based clinic that would help children in need of services and parents in need of a support system.

    Claire Schuster Murrell - M.S., CCC-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Claire is a bilingual speech-language pathologist from Hamilton, OH. She received her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 2018 -- go Bucks! Claire received her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Marquette University and completed a Bilingual English-Spanish Specialization program during graduate school. After her graduation in May of 2020, Claire began working at Casa Speech to continue her passion of working with monolingual and bilingual children with speech and language disorders. In her free time, Claire enjoys reading, crafting, taking walks, and exploring downtown Columbus with her family and friends!

    Haley Micsak - M.A., CCC-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Haley is a bilingual speech-language pathologist from Cleveland, Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science with a Minor in Spanish from The Ohio State University in 2018. She also received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ohio State in May of 2020. Haley is passionate about working with the pediatric population. She has experience providing therapy to children of diverse backgrounds, and is interested in serving bilingual children. In her free time, Haley enjoys cooking, playing the piano, and traveling with friends and family!

    Hanna Kim - M.A., CF-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Hanna, an English-Korean speaking Speech-Language Pathologist, was born in Northern Virginia and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science in 2017 and her Masters's degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023 from The Ohio State University.

    Hanna's professional interests lie in neurodevelopmental disabilities, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and working with culturally and linguistically diverse families. Her passion for the field grows every day.

    During her free time, Hanna finds joy in cooking/baking, being outdoors, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She always seeks new and fun activities to try.

    Hanna is fulfilled when problem-solving alongside families and discovering her clients' remarkable skills. She is eager to keep learning and provide the best possible support to the wonderful families at Casa Speech.

    Caitlin Kelleher - M.S., CCC-SLP

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Caitlin was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and joined the Casa Speech team in November 2021. She received her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University and earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University. Caitlin is excited to continue her work with the pediatric population and has professional interests in early intervention, phonological and articulation disorders, and language disorders. She has previously provided services in the daycare, school and clinic settings to diverse populations. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys listening to podcasts, cooking, walking her dog, Derby, and spending time with family and friends.

    Maria Matacia M.A., CCC-SLP

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Maria, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, moved to Columbus in 2022 and found Casa Speech to be home right away. She completed her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology in 2022 from the University of Cincinnati. Throughout her college years and during her fellowship with Casa Speech, her passion for serving diverse and multicultural populations has grown.

    Maria's professional interests revolve around literacy and fluency.

    In her leisure time, she enjoys being outdoors, engaging in crafting activities, and traveling.

    Dorian Lacey Garita, M.S., CCC-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Dorian is a bilingual speech-language pathologist from Columbus, OH. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Denison University in 2020 with majors in Spanish and Educational Studies. After completing her externship at Casa Speech in May of 2022, she graduated from Indiana University with a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a specialization in English-Spanish bilingualism.

    Dorian began working at Casa Speech in September of 2022 and is passionate about her work with pediatric speech and language disorders, as well as providing services to traditionally under-served populations.

    She likes to spend her free time reading, cooking, and traveling!

    Beto Gonzalez, M.A., CCC-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Beto is a bilingual speech-language pathologist from Columbus, OH. He received his Bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the Ohio State University in 2020 and continued at the Ohio State University to earn his Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2022.  Beto joined Casa Speech soon after graduation in 2022.

    Beto has published academic papers in the areas of speech perception and imitation, and his professional areas of interest include phonological and articulation disorders, with a specific interest in apraxia.

    In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Occupational Therapists

    Katie Trippel - MOT, OTR/L

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Katie always wanted a career focused on helping others, and she found that match in Occupational Therapy. After graduating with a Masters in Occupational Therapy from The Ohio State University in 2009, Katie moved to Oregon and began her career in inpatient rehabilitation, treating adults. Later, she transitioned to providing occupational therapy in a school setting, which felt like coming home to her due to her undergraduate degree in early childhood education and her experience as a child life specialist at Nationwide Children’s for several years.

    Over the past 11 years, Katie has worked in various educational settings, gaining strong experience in treating fine motor skills, visual motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, visual perception, and executive functioning. She specializes in working with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, various learning disorders, and Down’s Syndrome.

    Her favorite part of the job is collaborating with students, teachers, and parents to identify tools, strategies, or interventions that ultimately increase students' independence, performance, and self-esteem at school. Katie is passionate about mental health and is mindful of students' ability to cope with daily stress, anxiety, and unique challenges, particularly those with disabilities.

    In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. When she's not adventuring with her family, she finds joy in reading memoirs, spending time outdoors, watercolor painting, running, and savoring chai lattes at her favorite neighborhood coffee shop.

    Katherine P. Sarabia - M.A., MOTR/L

    BILINGUAL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Having a deep passion for helping others her whole life, Katherine became an Occupational Therapist in 2008, building ever since her professional experience in the area of Pediatrics. During these eleven years, Katherine has worked with children with special needs with a variety of diagnoses, such as Developmental Delays, Prematurity, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Low- Vision, Cortical Blindness, ADD/ADHD, Feeding Issues vs. Picky Eaters, fine motor/visual motor delays, learning disabilities, TBI, CVA, Down's Syndrome and other genetic disorders. She received her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from The Ohio State University, licensed by the State of Ohio, certified by NBCOT, Therapeutic Listening, and Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. She also has attended various professional development workshops, especially PLAY project, and Food Chaining.

    Katherine resides in Blacklick, Ohio with her husband, three kids and a dog named "Angel". Having two boys with special needs have given Katherine a whole different perspective in her personal life and career, making her "job" a lifelong representation of her "work" and "support" of other families who struggle, cry and love this puzzling path of parenting kids with special needs.
